ERP Constructo™: Features
Constructo is an integrated budgetary, economic and financial-management system developed by Arktec, specifically for construction companies, designed for satisfying your needs, which permits to perform earnings and expenses control, globally for all works or individually.

Its functions allow to perform every step of each work: estimates, offers comparisons, awardings, orders, analytical assignment of expenses, invoices accounting, expirations, inventories...

Users can control individually each work, incorporating accounting data of diverse works in a single or several companies. Management of material entries and material exits can be performed for each work or for all the works through a ‘virtual’ central warehouse.

Multi-company and Multi-accounting periods
Constructo offers the possibility of multi-company which permits to display and manage simultaneously several companies in different files. Data of one or several accounting periods can be saved for each company with Constructo. At any moment, accounting-periods data can be divided into independent databases to compile the final file.

Multi-workstation: centralized data
Constructo provides an unique centralized database which can be consulted and modified by different users, obtaining in real time the inserted information. Data consolidation adds to the centralized base the collected data in each work and company.

Different access restrictions can be assigned to each user: so different users could have access to different software sections and/or different functions. Users could be allowed to read and/or modify files or not.

Work control and accounting
Constructo resolves satisfactory in one solution the integration of work control data and financial and analytical accounting, optimizing the joint access to the information from different company departments.

Data can be introduced from material inputs to the daily ledger, and based on a received invoice which was introduced in the daily ledger, materials can be assigned to different work items.

Cost of a daily-ledger line can be assigned to several cost centers, according to diverse distribution criteria, obtaining all the financial listings and organized by the information of each cost center.

Some functionalities
Permitted work processes are very assorted, trying to collect diverse work styles:

  • Based on offers request, and using different awarding criteria, estimates are created, starting the work control.
  • Analysis and cost control is carried out in an integrated way, generating orders, materials relations, invoices, inventory and expenses of each item.
  • Inventory management just considering a single warehouse or a cost center for several works.
  • Assignment of several materials delivery-notes to the same order and the same invoice.
  • Assignment of each item expenses to analyse deviations between estimated or registered billed amounts and the real amounts.
  • Suppliers and clients file with tax number, address, phone, etc.
  • Cash flow control to manage performed and expected payments and collections.
  • Cost control through EVM (Earned Value Management), comparing initial estimate, costs objetives and work costs.

ERP Constructo™
It provides all your works information, structured in independent cost centers:

  • With ERP Arktec-Constructo, users will benefit from the integration between accounting, work control and invoicing, sending information in both ways: automatic accounting entries of invoices, entered invoices with material to be used, inventory, control of scaffolding and other equipment/machinery.
  • Profitability reports by works.
  • Labor reports for each worker, with total by periods and hour prices, and assigned to each work and item.
  • Invoicing allows to manage all the invoicing of the company in a centralized way through invoices creation to be issued and the optional input of received invoices, to store and consult them, such as credit notes and proforma invoices.
  • Direct assignment of expenses to each work, analytical daily ledger, treasury reports, profitability, expenses by work...
  • To simplify importation to Constructo, the connection of ContaPlus™ allows to export invoices and expirations to the software.

Synchronisation and centralisation expenses
Functions of automatic synchronisation expenses between different works of material, personnel and machinery. This feature allows to enter all cost-control data in a centralized file and distributes automatically them to different works where they participate. Also it is possible to enter or modify expenses in each specific work and join them together in a single file.

Executed changes will be automatically verified in the centralized file and in every single work, standarizing data of all of them. This is particulary useful to generate listings of all the company costs and for the specific costs of each work.

It is possible to have expenses in the central warehouse such as in any work, which was an alternative option before.  Data also can be entered in the central warehouse and in each work; This data will be synchronized after.

EVM (Earned Value Management)
This functionality allows to control the work performing based on the estimate, forecasted Gantt-chart, progress billings and the real cost.

Work amount already completed in the current month or week, is compared with the estimate made before the begining of the project. Thus, we analyze how much work has been done, how much remains to complete the project and, extrapolating from work done, resources that will be used to complete the project could be estimated.

Therefore, It is possible to estimate the duration and final cost of the project according to the initial estimates, or considering that real progress conditions are maintained until that moment.

They are directly obtained in the evolution graphs of costs, which are also exported to MS-Excel along with their numeric values.

The EVM is a control method of any kind of project, used since the 60s by the Government of the United States, which is currently used worldwide, so there is an extensive bibliography and documentation.
